BIM Tertiary Education in NZ

Ensuring the architects, engineers, and construction professionals of tomorrow are BIM capable is an important enabler of BIM adoption. Developing the teaching resource and assessments is a key step in delivering this. Sometimes this requires upskilling of academic staff too.

The National BIM Education Working Group (NBEWG)

In December 2014 key construction tertiary education providers agreed to establish a working group to co-ordinate their efforts to meet this need - The National BIM Education Working Group (NBEWG).
