Our Speakers

Juan Martinez

Juan Martinez is the Digital Engineering Lead at City Waters within Tauranga City Council, bringing experience from both the private consultancy sector and local government. He has led the development and implementation of an ISO-aligned Information Management Framework and is a passionate advocate for digital engineering, information management, and data-driven asset management. Juan is a national BIM in NZ Advisor and actively contributes to industry initiatives that advance digital transformation across New Zealand's infrastructure sector.

Nick Raines

Nick Raines is a Senior Digital Designer at Tonkin and Taylor NZ, specialising in BIM, digital engineering and ISO 19650 information management. He combines technical modelling expertise with digital engineering project leadership to help project teams establish effective information workflows and deliver coordinated, buildable and information-rich outcomes.

Jasen Cronje

Jasen Cronje is an Onsite Technology Lead at KiwiRail, with a strong focus on operational technology, digital engineering, and emerging capability across the rail environment. He leads KiwiRail’s Drone Centre of Excellence, providing oversight and guidance for drone governance, compliance, procurement, pilot support, and safe operational use. Jasen works closely with business units, field teams, and stakeholders to ensure technology is deployed safely, effectively, and in a way that delivers practical value across the rail network. His work supports improved asset inspection, operational efficiency, innovation, and the development of clear processes that enable teams to adopt new technology with confidence
