November 2026

Kia ora,

Welcome to the November edition of BIMinNZ Federated, your monthly roundup of upcoming events, industry news, and newly released digital resources provided by BIMinNZ!

This month, we have an exciting partnership to announce, and an upcoming event in the Wellington region.

DigiComm27 + BIMinNZ

For many years BIMinNZ has worked closely with the Building Institute Aotearoa, we have a shared collective goal of serving the design and construction industry through engaging events, and spotlighting amazing people, projects and performance throughout Aotearoa. We have worked together in the past to deliver events, large and small, and it is our great pleasure today to announce our partnership on DigiComm27

DigiComm27 will bring together leaders, innovators, project teams, and emerging professionals from across New Zealand’s built environments to explore how technology, information, and people can help deliver better outcomes for the industry.

Date: Thursday 11 March 2027
Venue: Aotea Centre, Auckland

We’re looking forward to sharing more in the lead up to March, thanks again to Building Institute Aotearoa for the opportunity to collaborate on New Zealand’s leading digital construction conference!

Upcoming Events

Advising on the future!

Our Wellington crew had the pleasure of advising on a number of new industry focused courses within the Te Herenga Waka | Victoria University of Wellington construction programme. Hanna Hawke, Michael De Fazio, and Sheniel Shen provided valuable feedback on what they expect to see out of graduates studying Advanced Digital Tools in Construction.

Within BIMinNZ, we have had a long-standing relationship with academia, and we are excited to help inform the next generation of construction professionals.

From Left to right. Jake Nash (BIMinNZ, VUW), Dr Antony Pelosi (Programme Director for Construction, VUW), Michael De Fazio (Naylor Love), Sheniel Sen (Health NZ), and Hanna Hawke (LT McGuinness)

Thank you!

That’s all for this month, thank you for keeping up with BIMinNZ.
