Andrew is a Principal - Digital Delivery within the Advisory Practice at Beca. With a background in architecture and computer aided design and manufacturing, Andrew specialises in the development of contemporary project management practices which are underpinned by digital delivery processes. During his 21 years in the construction industry – working in the United States, Wellington and Auckland - Andrew has a formed a relationship-based approach to project management – engaging with clients to understand their drivers, then consultants, contractors and the wider supply chain to support successful construction project outcomes.
Andrew’s research within the BAC addresses key issues affecting the construction industry such as the challenges and opportunities BIM presents to the construction value chain. More recent work has focused on championing industry leadership and the important role that long term Asset Owners can play to influence the uptake of Digital Asset Information by demanding “better information” from their consultants and contractors.
