  • GHD 27 Napier Street, Auckland Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand (map)

Overview

Join us on October 15th at GHD for our final formal BIMinNZ Auckland Event of 2026

Hear from an amazing lineup of speakers from our friends at Women in BIM, as we explore mentorship, career journeys, and the how do bridge the gap between documentation and construction.

Petros Pan - Cassidy Construciton Ltd: The Journey of Redline Markups
The design and construction process is complex. For decades, paper-based redline markup drawings ruled the industry, serving as the standard way to coordinate, review, and manage builds. Architects, engineers, and contractors have long relied on carefully crafted A3 printouts to manage this process. But is there a better way? Are we truly using the right tools?

Seeking a better path, Cassidy Construction embarked on a digital journey to bridge the gap between design, fabrication, and construction. The goal: to deliver projects with confidence and efficiency. While this evolution has brought its share of challenges, it has ultimately proven to be the right track that leads into the digital future. At this event, Cassidy Construction will share their digital transformation journey, illustrating how they have integrated BIM and digital workflows into their everyday operations.

Women in BIM Panel Discussion: Career Pathways into Digital Engineering and BIM
Join us for an engaging panel discussion exploring the diverse career journeys of women working in digital engineering and BIM. Through personal stories and practical insights, our panellists will share how they entered the industry, developed their technical expertise, navigated career changes, and progressed into leadership roles.

The conversation will highlight the many pathways into digital delivery, the value of transferable skills, the importance of mentorship and sponsorship, and how individuals and organisations can help create more inclusive opportunities for the next generation of BIM and digital engineering professionals. Audience members will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session and gain practical advice for building a career in this evolving field.

Moderator and panellist to be confirmed.
